Wedding catering in Ibiza is priced per head, and the range reflects the style of meal and level of service. Here is what you can expect to pay for a wedding on the island.

A typical wedding for 100 guests comes to €5,500 – €18,000, while a luxury destination wedding with venue ranges from €25,000 for 30 guests to €90,000+ for 100+. Remember that most caterers have a €400 – €900 minimum order, so smaller weddings of 15–20 guests are well within reach.

A tasting session is the clearest way to judge a caterer, and many companies will deduct the tasting fee from your final bill if you book with them. For villa weddings, a private chef experience is also available at around €66–€87 per head, giving you a more personal touch.

Most Ibiza wedding caterers build their quote around the food itself, with extras itemised separately. A typical per-head price covers the dishes, the serving equipment and the waiting staff needed to deliver it — roughly one server per 10–12 guests for a seated menu.

Ask what else is included: tableware, glassware, linen and bar service, plus set-up and breakdown on the day. And always check the small print on the all-important tasting session — some caterers include it in the price, while others charge extra. If you are planning a smaller celebration, a brunch reception at €15–€35 per head is a lovely, lighter option.

Don't forget to ask about bar service and drinks packages, as these are often quoted separately from the food. Cocktail receptions typically range from €25 to €50 per head and work beautifully for less formal celebrations.

Start with your venue. A beach club, a north-island finca and a private villa each bring different catering challenges, and not every company works everywhere. Ask whether they have catered at your venue before, and whether they can use its kitchen or need to bring their own mobile equipment.

Book a tasting and use it to discuss dietary requirements, from vegetarian and vegan options to allergy-friendly menus. Ask about the bar too — some caterers include drinks packages while others work with a separate drinks company. And remember that Ibiza's most exclusive services sit at €99–€180 per head, so set your budget before you fall in love with a menu.

It is also worth asking for references from past weddings at similar venues, and confirming that they are insured and licensed for the island.

Ibiza's peak wedding season runs from June to September, when prices run 20–30% higher than the rest of the year. If you have your heart set on a Saturday in high summer, book your caterer 12–18 months ahead; the most sought-after venues go a year or more in advance. An off-season wedding is more relaxed, with 6–10 months' notice usually enough.

Quotes are usually given excluding VAT: catering is taxed at 10% and venue hire at 21%. Isolated villas, fincas in the north of the island and boats all add logistics, staffing and minimum-spend costs.
